Findings

What a candidate finding contains, and how to narrow the list.

A finding is a candidate conflict, omission, or bad reference between the drawings and the specifications. It is not a determination.

What you can see

Each finding names the issue and points at the evidence:

  • The drawing sheet and page
  • The specification section and page, when the source is a PDF
  • The values taken from each side
  • A severity: critical, high, medium, low, or informational
  • Whether the comparison is plans against specifications, or plans against a cited industry code

Expand a finding to read the recommended resolution and the citations. Open the plans or specifications preview to check the source yourself.

Filters

Filter the table by discipline, severity, and finding type. Reset the filters to see the full list again. Accepted variances can be shown or hidden so the open issues stay in front.

If the report says there are no candidate findings, the comparison finished without flagging a conflict. That is still a result a reviewer should confirm against the set.
