Decisions

How a reviewer records a rationale and a disposition.

The reviewer decision is separate from VeriCord's analysis. You record it on the finding after you have read the evidence.

What to record

Write a rationale of at least a few words. The rationale is stored with the change history, so a later reader can see why the disposition changed.

Then choose a disposition:

  • Mark as valid variance when the difference is acceptable and should leave the open list
  • Reopen as issue when a previously accepted finding needs to be looked at again
  • Leave it unreviewed until someone has checked it

You can also adjust the severity when the suggested level does not match the project. Save the decision before you move on. The export and the report both keep the disposition you saved.
